The Asia Floor Wage Alliance is a network of social movement promoting the rights of women working in the garment industry. In collaboration with the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal. the AFWA has organized four National Peoples Tribunal in Sri Lanka, India, Cambodia, Indonesia and a final Session in Sri Lanka, from 2009 to 2015, for the recognition of the living wage as fundamental human right:
- National Tribunal in Sri Lanka (Colombo, 27-30 March 2011)
- National Tribunal in Cambodia (Phnom Pehn, 5-8 February 2012)
- National Tribunal in India (Bengaluru, 22-25 November 2012)
- National Tribunal in Indonesia (Jakarta, 21-24 June 2014)
- Final Session in Sri Lanka (Colombo, 17-20 December 2015)
